WT032917-10. 15 CHATEAU DE CAMARSAC, BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR - (FRANCE BORDEAUX) 14%; proprietor Thierry Lurton; 95% merlot, 5% cabernet franc. Ripest vintage of this yet. Still dark fruited but also sweet. Measured, not sloppy. Gateway to 2015 claret./ Tighter, with less padding. Still, there’s a sweet cherry merlot core. Fine tannin. Balanced. Will age gracefully. 16.2+.

A marker vintage for this series./ Soft and oaky. Fruit and nut and wood cremes. Tannin and alcohol not fully assimilated yet. 16.0+.

Goes with the flow in 2014./ Yes, sweet and ripe and viscous, with a balance of tangy acid. All. Long, spicy aftertaste and lightly tannic finale. 16.9.

Total, textbook manzanilla./ Yes, lithe and pure. Almond, green olive, and sea salt. Definitive. And well priced. Got to have some of this in my fridge. 18.4.
