WT061015-02. 14 ALTO ADIGE SAUVIGNON SAN PIETRO, VITICOLTORI ALTO ADIGE - (ITALY) 13%. Should have tasted this first. More low key, high altitude. Precise delivery of Alto Adige sauvignon./ Juicy gooseberry taste laced with cool mango. No citrus. Intense flavor and texture just build and build throughout the experience. The right order after all. 16.7+.
WT061015-03. 14 BIERZO GODELLO, ABAD DOM BUENO - (SPAIN) 13%. Full and well rounded. Lightly scented of pineapple and citrus. Penetrating aromatics./ Great acid and glycerol play off against one another. Full textural spiel, plus power. Persistent flavors. 16.7+.

WT061015-05. 14 TOURAINE NOBLE JOUE ROSE, DOMAINE ROUSSEAU FRERES - (FRANCE LOIRE) 13%; 50% pinot meunier, 35% pinot gris, 15% pinot noir; 80acre AOC south of Tours. Lovely and intense pink fruit. Perfect example. Berry, cherry, apple./ Intense flavors of all three, especially the pinot gris apple-like component. Will improve through summer. 16.7+.

Wood seasonings./ Sweet and savory California pinot fruit with toasty oak. Loaded. Long and sweet finish. 17.1.

Ripe, deep black cherry fruit. Some wood smoke in essential form./ Fabulous oak and sweet fruit. Cherry and black currant. Useful now. 16.5+.

Lovely warmth of morellino and of nearly 4 years’ maturation, including barrel aging./ Round and balanced. Boy, this is a good deal! Good strength, balance for mealtime service. Cherry aftertaste. 16.9.
WT061015-14. 09 JACOB’S CREEK CENTENARY HILL BAROSSA VALLEY SHIRAZ - (AUSTRALIA) 14.5%. Deep, sweet, powerful Barossa classic. In control. Well proportioned sweetness and power, fruit and oak./ Yes, good, sweet original fruit plus barrel age and light bottle bouquet. At a sweet spot. 17.3+.
WT061015-15. ITALIA MAMAMANGO AROMATIZED WINE-PRODUCT COCKTAIL - (APERITIF) 6%. Hazy with pulp, though no chunks. More muscat in this one than the Mangoscato. Lots of mango too though, and something resembling hops./ Artificial candy taste. A muddle of flavors and textures. Cocktail indeed. 15.6.

WT060315-01. CODORNIU CLASICO BRUT CAVA - (SPARKLING) 11.5%; est. 1551. Good basic cava. Not too earthy./ Good mousse, good acid. Straight down the middle; strays neither to the earthy or the fruity side. High brut doseage. Good. 15.9.
WT060315-02. 13 MUSCADET SEVRE DE MAINE SUR LIE TERROIR LES GRAS MOUTONS, DOMAINE CLAUDE BRANGER - (FRANCE LOIRE) 12%; est. 1915; 50 yr old vines in Gras Moutons. This is full. Old vines and short crop full. Plenty of extract, terroir and varietal character. Concentrated. Full material. Classic./ Yes, really full. More-so than the 2012. Texture, body, flavor, all. Textbook Muscadet. 16.9.
WT060315-04. 14 LANGHE ARNEIS, AZ. AGR. CASCINA BONGIOVANNI - (ITALY) 13%; estate bottled; 100% varietal. Oh, yes, bursting with pear and peach. As exuberant, spontaneous, and eager to please as it was at the trade show two months back./ Great fruit, acid, astringency, all. Classic to the bitter end. 17.0.
WT060315-05. 14 CHINON ROSE RIVE GAUCHE CHATEAU DE LA BONNELIERE, M. PLOUZEAU - (FRANCE LOIRE) 12.5%. Very pretty cabernet franc berry. Still some fermentation apple and blossom. Intense./ Berry and banana of youth. Should hit stride in mid summer. 16.3+.
WT060315-06. 14 WILLAMETTE VALLEY VINEYARDS WHOLE CLUSTER WILLAMETTE VALLEY PINOT NOIR - (U.S.) 13.7%; clones Dijon 114, 115, 667, 777, Pommard, Wadenwil; carbonic maceration. Really quite full for this cuvee. Primary fruit and whole berry fermentation aromas. Crisp cherry fruit. No tea, herb. Fulfilled already./ Sweet cherry plus fruit creme and pie crust. Sweet and lush indeed. This is succulent. Wow! 16.8.

Medium red, correct pinot color./ Good rich, racy Calif pinot with lots of cherry, pie crust, and oak toast aromas. A steal at this price./ Love the acid, fruit, toast, form. Another great Calif vintage coming on. 16.6+.
WT060315-08. 12 WINDY BAY OREGON PINOT NOIR - (U.S.) 13%. Oh, this is good. Cool, ripe OR black cherry and sweet tea. OR pinot classic./ Yes, sweet cherry and darjeeling tea. Really eager to please. Good acid, light tannin. 16.6.
WT060315-09. 13 TOSCANA CAMPONOVO, TENUTA DI SESTA - (ITALY) 14%; estate bottled. Both sweet and dried fruits. Tar in back. Deep and classic./ Dark and dry 2013. Compact wine with a future. The fruit is rightly sweet and ripe. 6 months - 2 years. 16.4+.
WT060315-11. 13 DOURO CRASTO, QUINTA DO CRASTO - (PORTUGAL) 14%; 35% touriga nacional; 30% tinta roriz, 25% touriga franca, 10% tinta barroca. Stalwart, noble varietal and terroir bearings with additional barrel-age complexities. Dark fruits and flowers. No singe. Douro bargain./ Young and fruity. At this stage, showing more fruit and less barrel seasoning than the 2011. Balanced and good for now and later. 16.5+.

WT060315-15. EARL STEVENS MANGOSCATO CALIFORNIA WHITE - (U.S.) 18%; aka E-40. Essential complex of each ingredient. Kudos to the winemaker. Incredible. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts./ Power, cut, sweetness. Almost too much to assimilate. Labrusca-like fruit intensity. 17.0.
