Perfect harmony./ Again, the varietal pieces all fit together right. The levity of Est3. A fun wine that’s still fresh and useful approaching age two. 16.2.

Perfumed and perfect./ Yes, full flavors and round feels, perfectly balanced by just the right acidity. 16.9.

Delicate pink fruit rose beauties./ Relative dry, quiet, and still firm on the palate, as was last year’s version. Shows grip. Will soften and become more revealing as the months pass. We’re still selling plenty of the 2013 to fans. 16.0+.

WT080515-8. 14 VALPOLICELLA, ALLEGRINI - (ITALY) 13%. Sweet and deep up front, with fine, light reduction in back. Lovely, rich, complete Valpolicella. The usual style and standard of an Allegrini, even though it is not designated ‘Classico’ this vintage./ Full of violet and berry pastille flavors. One of the best in the series. Fabulous flavor range and intensity, positively perfumed. Put it right to work. 16.9.
