11/06/19 Wednesday Group Tasting Notes
- (FRANCE LOIRE) 13.5%. Quince, lime, and melon aromas of Loire chenin. Calcaire etches the nostrils. Spot on./ Near dry. If there is a touch of 'sec tendre' residual sweetness, it's well buffered by racy acidity and clinging extract. Another winner in this series. 17.0+.

11/06/19 Wednesday Group Tasting Notes
- (U.S. West COAST) 14.1%. Very crisp style of the maker. Sweet enough Oregon pinot though. Very snappy and spicy./ Well, the palate betrays unintegrated oak, suggestive of the use of oak chips. This renders it awkward . Some heat on the finish. Too bad after a promising nose. 16.3/15.4.
