Since 1997 Miner Family has been making splendid Viognier from the low-yielding Simpson Vineyard in Madera. For this 2004, the fruit was not aged in oak nor did it undergo malolactic fermentation. The result is a vibrant white offering lovely scents of white peach, tropical fruit and floral-honeysuckle. Rich but never syrupy, it offers great fresh fruit flavours and finishes on a racy edge.
