Vivid fresh apricot, bracing citricity, high-toned florality and solid slate in the mouth. Finishes strongly on slate and apricot. Messmer decided to stop the fermentation and capture the first non-dry Schawer riesling in many years. But he got a lot more sugar than he had bargained for.
