I mean, I like it. It adds dimension. And there’s plenty of fruit concentration. Really gives and gives at this price, which is more than fair for Pouilly Fuisse, especially village specific and domaine bottled. Very well liked by the group. 92+/100. |

Settles into a more reserved demeanor, showing stylish fruit and flower aromatics. Young, fresh, brisk appley Macon chardonnay./ And those damned oak like nuances in C&T and Deux Roches wines that fool me every time. Seem barrel aged but they’re not. Here’s vanilla coated fruit and some toast and caramel. But the wine has never touched wood. Great fruit acidity, especially for 07. Both richness and refinement. Very bright. Still youthfully reticent but well balanced, so no problem. Runs deep too. Well liked by the group. 91+/100. |
